In Roszdravnadzor for the region confirmed the information that at the moment an inspection is being carried out. In turn, the child's mother told Izvestia that HIV tests were conducted three times, and all the results were positive. The results of the parents are negative.
"We just had a list of tests before the planned operation, randomly it all turned up. In the last polyclinic did the analysis and the third time in the laboratory, where outside of Kamchatka sent the tests - all positive," she shared.
The woman also reported that a criminal case was opened over the incident. According to her, she has already applied to the Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Health and the Investigative Committee.
Earlier, on December 1, Rospotrebnadzor said about the decline in HIV testing among vulnerable groups. At the same time, Vadim Pokrovsky, head of the specialized research department of epidemiology and AIDS prevention at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, called it an alarming signal that people living with HIV are increasingly found among the rural population and those who live in regions remote from the center. According to him, this may indicate an epidemic of the disease.
