France accused Macron of creating a political crisis in the country

Matilde Panot, chairwoman of the left-wing Unruly France party faction, said on Dec. 4 that there is a political crisis in the country and that early presidential elections should be held.
"We are in such a moment of political crisis created by the president [Emmanuel Macron]. There is only one solution left to break the deadlock. That is an early presidential election so that people can decide anew through the ballot boxes which path they want to take for our common destiny," she told reporters after passing a vote of no confidence in the government of French Prime Minister Michel Barnier.
The French National Assembly (lower house of parliament) on December 4 passed a resolution of no confidence in the government of French Prime Minister Michel Barnier. 331 deputies voted for the vote of no confidence. In turn, the leader of the party "National Union" Marine Le Pen noted that the pressure on the French President will increase.
President Macron ruled out the possibility of his resignation from office. He called calls for his resignation a political fiction and confirmed his intention to remain in office until the end of the presidential term in 2027. In addition, he is scheduled to address the nation on December 5.
