Sobyanin told about plans to build new subway lines


It is planned to build several new subway lines and modernize the old ones in Moscow. This was told by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin on December 4.
"The next metro branch is Biryulevskaya. Residents have been asking to build it for a long time. We are now actively conducting design, site preparation, removal of engineering communications. I think that somewhere by 2030 the main works on this branch will also be realized", - said Sobyanin.
He also told that the next stage of the Troitskaya subway line is planned to be built in 2025. Sobyanin specified that in addition to this now in the capital the project on construction of Rublevo-Arkhangelsk line of subway is realized.
The mayor noted that by 2030 it is planned to perform work on replacement of old cars by 90%. Now the work is done by 75%.
Earlier, on November 25, Sobyanin said that in Moscow the tunneling of the left side tunnel between the future stations "Narodnoe Opolchenie" and "Bulvar Generala Karbyshev" of Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line was completed.
