CSKA defeated Vityaz in overtime in a KHL match


On December 4, CSKA defeated Vityaz Moscow Region in overtime in the regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with a score of 2:1.
Forward Derek Barak scored for Vityaz, while CSKA got a goal from forward Maxim Sorokin. In the first seconds of overtime, CSKA forward Pavel Karnaukhov scored for his team.
Thus, CSKA won its third game in a row and secured fifth place in the Western Conference standings. "Vityaz" occupies the ninth line.
Earlier in the day, the Omsk hockey club Avangard in the first game after the departure of head coach Sergei Zvyagin defeated Sochi in the regular championship game of the Fonbet - Continental Hockey League (KHL) with a score of 6:0.
