First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko delivered a speech to the participants and winners of the All-Russian Youth Media and Journalism Award "SHUM". Izvestia has footage of the event at its disposal.

"The ability to tell the truth, to convey information so that it is heard, requires real professionalism. After all, in order for you to be believed, you must put a piece of your soul into it. For each of you, what you do is not just a profession, but a true calling. And when the fire burns in your eyes, it can be passed on. You can pass on conviction when you are convinced, faith - when you believe," he said.

Kirienko drew attention to the symbolism of the fact that the award was held in the national center "Russia", which was created by Russian President Vladimir Putin as a result of the exhibition "Russia". He noted that both at the exhibition and among the participants of the award were gathered those whom the whole country is proud of.

"What you do is very important for your native country. And you are also a subject of national pride," Kiriyenko emphasized.

Earlier, on November 29, the Russian Creative Awards were presented in Moscow. Over 1 thousand projects from more than 60 Russian regions were submitted for the 2024 competition. The application campaign for the selection took place on the official website and ended on November 18.
