The Defense Ministry reported the successful launch of the Soyuz-2.1b rocket from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome

The Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) have successfully launched a Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome with a satellite in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry. This was reported in the agency on December 4.

It is specified that the launch was made on December 4 at 20:59 (Moscow time) from the State Test Cosmodrome of the Ministry of Defense in the Arkhangelsk region.

"The combat formation of the space forces of the Air and Space Forces successfully carried out the launch of a medium-class launch vehicle "Soyuz - 2.1b" with a spacecraft in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry", - said in the Telegram-channel of the department.

Earlier, on October 31, the Russian Air and Space Forces launched a Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with a military satellite from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. It was noted that this launch was carried out in the interests of the Ministry of Defense.
