He tossed between the family hearth and the cabinet, between the desire to be a happy husband and the need to be a public figure, he, a nobleman, refused to support the Russian Emperor Nicholas II, considering his reforms too radical, and shot him anarchist Bogrov, a former agent of the security service, seeing in him the inspirer of political reaction.

"Let all the flowers bloom" 0+

The title of the exhibition reveals its main thematic content - most of the works are in the genre of "flowers and birds". There will be presented about 300 exhibits - and this is only a part of the unique collection of Chinese art of the 50s, which is kept in the State Museum of Oriental Art. An important part of the collection is national Gohua painting, whose representatives strived to preserve the originality of classical fine arts. For the first time modern viewers will be able to see a large-scale six-meter panel "Let All Flowers Blossom", consisting of six scrolls and created by a team of authors.

"Transfiguration. To the 100th anniversary of the new art of Palekh" 0+
December 5 marks 100 years since the creation of Palekh lacquer miniature painting, which brought the ancient icon-painting center worldwide recognition.
Palekh artists took part in the first international exhibitions in Venice in 1924 and in Paris in 1925, where they presented a new art of miniature painting, stunning professionals and the general public.
