Over the past 24 hours, residents of the Tula region lost more than 2.5 million roubles to fraudsters. The police are carrying out checks on each fact.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the swindlers convinced three people to transfer funds to "safe" accounts. Two more pensioners suffered when fraudsters used the scheme "Your relative was in an accident". This is reported by TSN24.

One woman lost her money because of con artists who offered to replace the electric meter. In addition, one man suffered because of fraud on the dating site.

Earlier in the day it was reported about the detention of the courier of phone scammers in the Moscow region Mytishchi. The man took 600 thousand rubles from a pensioner.
