Among the material desires that will not be realized, 89% of Russians named the purchase of an apartment. At the same time, 35% of Russians would like to upgrade their personal transportation and believe that it is quite realistic to buy a new car. This is stated in the results of a study by Anderida Financial Group, which were read by "Izvestia" on December 5.

"On average, to save up for a dream, Russians need about two years, and only 40% will be able to save up on their own. In the current realities, the dreams and desires of Russians are divided into real and not. Among the material desires that will not be realized, 89% of Russians named the purchase of an apartment", - said the founder of Anderida Financial Group Alexei Tarapovsky.

According to him, a year earlier no more than 45% of respondents answered so categorically. At the same time, it will take about 10 years to save up for an apartment without using credit funds, the expert believes. To calculate the average income per family was taken, taking into account that there are two working people with permanent earnings. At the same time, one third of the income should be directed to savings.

"In the category "Real Dreams" the car is the leader. About 35% of Russians would like to upgrade their personal transportation. Taking into account the average income per household, assuming two people working in it will take 3.5 years," Tarapovsky added.

In addition, the second place among quite feasible desires is occupied by a country house or dacha, which is dreamed of by 28% of respondents. To buy such real estate, they will need to save for a little more than four years.

"25% have more short-term dreams, and they dream of traveling. On average, one can save for this dream in four to five months. 15% dream of making repairs in the apartment - it will take 1.5 years to realize," the expert specified.

Another 10% of respondents dream of new gadgets - computer equipment or phones. For these purposes, they should save money for three months.

"8% are thinking about moving, but do not have the necessary amount. For a comfortable move to another city you need to save up for about six months. If we are talking about moving abroad, the period exceeds a year. About 5% dream of saving up for education, which will take 2.5 years to fulfill," Tarapovsky said.

According to him, 40% of respondents are confident that they will be able to fulfill their dreams without borrowed funds, 30% doubt this, and the remaining survey participants consider it unrealistic.

Earlier, September 16, it was reported that every second Russian respondent (53%) has savings for unexpected expenses. And form a financial safety cushion 59% of respondents. This is stated in the results of the study "SberStrakhovanie life", services "Work.ru" and "Podrabotka". Of those who form a financial safety cushion, every third (28%) save about 10% of their monthly income, every fifth (21%) - from 11% to 24%.
