Soybean harvesting has been completed in Primorsky Krai. Agrarians have harvested 207 thousand tons of export crop from the territory of more than 152 thousand hectares. This is reported by the press service of the regional government on Wednesday, December 4.

Mikhailovsky district became the leader in soybean harvesting. The crop yield remained at the level of 2023 and amounted to 14 c/ha, despite unfavorable weather conditions and under-sowing.

As PrimaMedia IA notes, soybeans continue to be a key crop that the region exports. Thanks to the national project "International Cooperation and Export" Primorye is planning to send abroad agricultural products worth more than $2 billion.

At the same time, in connection with the reduction of soybean exports, additional support of livestock breeding with fodder will be provided.

Earlier it was reported that in Primorsky Krai a new technology of bee keeping is being developed. It is being adapted to the peculiarities of the local climate. The manual is planned to be released in February 2025.
