Kuban record increase in gross regional product

Gross Regional Product (GRP) in Krasnodar Region in the current 2024 year has reached the mark of 5.6 trillion rubles. Such figures were announced by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev during the "Direct Line" on Wednesday, December 4.

"All this, thanks to the right balance of power and our industrialists. It was difficult to get in just a few years such a result, given that the country today is in a constant framework of challenge," - said the head of the region, his quote is quoted by IA KrasnodarMedia.

According to Kondratyev, GRP is steadily growing. In 2021 it amounted to 3 billion rubles, and in 2022 - 3.5 trillion rubles. In 2024, Kuban made a powerful leap, in 10 months the economy growth exceeded 3%. These figures mean stable development.

As the governor explained, industry has taken the first place in the agrarian region, followed by the health resort sector. The cities began to earn more money from tourists due to the improvement of conditions. At the moment the region is able to receive more than 20 million vacationers.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities of the Krasnodar region developed new rules for local ski resorts. "Draft rules of stay at the resorts of the mountain tourist cluster in the city of Sochi" sent to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for approbation.
