Soros, Rockefellers, Rothschilds. What are the behind-the-scenes rulers known for

Many in the world believe that society is ruled by a secret government and that historical processes are shaped by a handful of unscrupulous people interested only in their own well-being. In the recent past, the Rockefeller, Rothschild and Morgan families have been credited with great influence in conspiracy theories, while today George Soros and the Koch brothers are more often cynical puppeteers. How they earned such fame and what is actually their influence - in the material "Izvestia".
Soros
- Billionaire George Soros earned himself a reputation as the most mysterious and influential man in the world, surrounded by all sorts of myths and rumors. He was born in 1930 under the name György Schwartz in a Jewish family in Hungary. The family soon changed their last name to Hungarian to avoid persecution by the Nazis. The Soroses survived World War II thanks to forged documents, and in 1947 George Soros moved to the United Kingdom to study.
- In London, Soros became fascinated by the left-liberal ideas of philosopher Karl Popper, whose lectures he attended. The latter preached the theory of "open society", which denies prohibitions and encourages critical thinking, strives for change and puts the individual at the center instead of the collective. Such a society does not recognize state power and has the right to change it.
- Soros absorbed these ideas and began to realize them after he became rich from operations on the securities market. He is blamed for profiting from financial speculation without creating anything useful for society. Soros cleverly took advantage of crises to increase his fortune at someone else's expense, not disdaining insider information. The story of the artificial collapse of the pound sterling exchange rate, which allowed the entrepreneur to earn $1 billion within a day, is illustrative. Soros was also accused of provoking the Asian financial crisis of 1997, the echo of which was the default in Russia in 1998.
- To promote his ideas about the order of the world, Soros established a network of his own funds in many countries of the world, which he considered undemocratic and requiring liberal reforms - the so-called Soros Funds. Under the guise of humanitarian aid and scholarships, textbooks and educational courses promoting the principles of an "open society" were distributed. Soros was accused of political influence and organizing "color revolutions. Gradually, the activities of his foundations were banned in many countries of the world, including Russia.
Rockefellers
- The Rockefeller family achieved its wealth and influence thanks to the activities of John Davis Rockefeller (1839-1937 years of life). He became the first dollar billionaire in history through the oil business. His company Standard Oil controlled up to 95% of US oil production through constant buying up of small and medium-sized companies. During his lifetime he founded the Rockefeller Foundation, which is still in operation today.
- Rumor attributes to the descendants of Rockefeller a huge influence on politics and economics both in the United States and around the world. Suffice it to say that one grandson of the founder of the dynasty, Nelson Rockefeller (1908-1979), was vice-president of the United States, and another, Winthrop Rockefeller (1912-1973), was governor of Arkansas. However, the most odious was David Rockefeller (1915-2017), who preferred to influence the fate of the world without high official positions.
- David Rockefeller headed the Council on Foreign Relations - this organization is attributed to direct influence on the entire foreign policy of the United States. The billionaire himself also founded the Trilateral Commission to directly influence other countries in Europe and Asia. As a regular participant in meetings of the Bilderberg Club, to which conspiracy theorists attribute the secret control of the world, Rockefeller advocated globalization and the creation of a supranational government. He also advocated birth control on a global scale, even though he was the father of six children.
- Rockefeller's influence was confirmed by his political connections - according to some reports, he held about 200 meetings with world leaders of different eras, being in fact a private entrepreneur. Rockefeller met with Mikhail Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin, Fidel Castro, Nikita Khrushchev, Saddam Hussein and every U.S. president since Dwight Eisenhower. Ever since college, Rockefeller was acquainted with future CIA director Allen Dulles and other American intelligence chiefs. Extensive connections of the billionaire could not but affect the privileged position of the entire Rockefeller dynasty.
Rothschilds
- The influence of the House of Rothschild has been talked about since the end of the XVIII century. The first to become world-famous was Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744-1812), who made his fortune in banking. His five sons controlled banks in all major European cities - London, Paris, Vienna, Naples and Frankfurt am Main. This allowed them to become an integral part of the European aristocracy. The Rothschilds allowed only their own relatives to manage their assets, keeping all wealth within the family. The English and French branches of the Rothschilds still own businesses in a variety of fields.
- The activities of the Rothschilds have long been shrouded in myths. They became rich during the Napoleonic Wars, skillfully trading in securities. Rumor has it that Nathan Rothschild (1777-1836), who lived in Britain, knew in advance the outcome of the battle of Waterloo and bought cheap government bonds before the whole of London knew about the victory. The papers immediately rose in value, bringing him a huge income. According to another version, Rothschild even bribed a French general to lose the battle. Since then, the family is always suspected of secret manipulations, bringing them fabulous capital.
- According to legend, Nathan Rothschild uttered the winged phrase: "He who owns the information, he owns the world". Rothschilds were attributed to participation in secret societies of Illuminati and Freemasons, which allowed them to gain access to exclusive knowledge and use it for commercial purposes. Through these same orders, the Rothschilds maintained ties with other powerful clans in Europe, sharing spheres of influence.
- The Jewish origin of the Rothschilds also created a mystical halo around them. Some of the members of the clan were supporters of Zionism and the creation of the state of Israel in Palestine, which gave rise to much speculation. Rothschilds are attributed leadership in secret Jewish coalitions, claiming world domination or have already achieved it. The total fortune of the Rothschilds is estimated at trillions of dollars, and this explains their influence on the situation in the world.
The Morgans
- The Morgan family is not as well known around the world as the Rockefellers and Rothschilds. However, in the United States, they are synonymous with wealth and success, where money can buy anything. The peak of power of this dynasty is associated with John Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913). In his honor are named now the largest U.S. banks JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley.
- Morgan was an active businessman who built a real financial empire. He founded such multinational corporations as General Electric and US Steel. Morgan constantly multiplied his wealth by buying up smaller companies and becoming a monopoly in one field or another. His influence was so great that he personally solved the financial crisis of 1907, allocating the missing funds to banks. As a result, with the personal approval of U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, he received a large steel company for nothing.
- For a long time Morgan was called the culprit of the Titanic disaster, which belonged to his company. The millionaire supported the creation of the Federal Reserve System (FRS) and the transformation of the dollar into a universal means of payment, which would allow him and other merchants to control the economy of the world. Opponents of this plan Morgan allegedly gathered on the Titanic, after which he ordered the ship to be sunk. It is reliably known that Morgan himself was supposed to go on the same flight, but at the last moment refused to board.
- His son, John Pierpont Morgan the Younger (1867-1943), actively financed Russia, France and Great Britain during World War I, for which he was accused of inciting the conflict. Since then, the entire Morgan family has been expected to stir up another crisis that will bring them new profits.
The Koch brothers
- The Koch brothers - David (1940-2019) and Charles (1935) - also earned an ambiguous fame for themselves. The basis of their capital was inherited from their father Fred Koch (1900-1967), an inventor in the field of oil refining. He built new refineries in the US, the USSR, Nazi Germany, the Middle East and Asia. He consolidated his assets into Koch Industries. After traveling in the USSR, Koch Sr. became a hater of communism and an ardent conservative, which also influenced his sons, to whom he passed the business shortly before his death.
- Upon entering the inheritance, David and Charles Koch behaved in a predatory manner. They bought the shares from their brothers Frederick and William for nothing and set about expanding the business empire. The brothers were guided by two principles: not to take out loans and not to place shares in order not to lose influence on business processes. They grew their fortune to $100 billion, creating the largest private company in the United States.
- The Kochs invested their profits in spreading their life principles. They became convinced libertarians and anarcho-capitalists - opponents of any government regulation, especially in the economy. They spread their ideas through grants at American universities, spending hundreds of millions of dollars. They have also sponsored research centers and foundations promoting the libertarian agenda.
- In 2012, the Kochs openly opposed U.S. President Barack Obama and his social policies. The brothers invested heavily in Republican candidate Mitt Romney in the election, but were defeated. They did not support Donald Trump in the future, seeing him as a champion of freedoms. After David's death, the Kochs' influence on politics is no longer talked about so openly, but older brother Charles still has plenty of resources to fight for his ideas.
