Maserati driver who hit children in Moscow Region sentenced to 9 years in prison

Maserati driver Sergei Ivanov, who hit children at a bus stop, was sentenced to nine years and one month of general regime colony by the Mozhaisk City Court of Moscow Region. This was reported by the correspondent of "Izvestia" from the courtroom on Wednesday, December 4.

It is noted that Ivanov was also deprived of his driving license and obliged to pay a fine of 4.5 million rubles.

In early June of this year, a Maserati driver ran over two children at a bus stop in Mozhaisk city district. As a result of the accident, a 13-year-old boy died, and a 10-year-old boy was hospitalized.

The incident occurred at 28 km of the highway Uvarovka - Semenovskoye - Kuskovo. It is specified that the driver failed to cope with the control and hit the minors.
