Putin announced that Russia is among the leaders in terms of business climate quality

Russia is among the leaders among countries in terms of business climate quality. Such a statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 4.

The head of state shared that the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) of Russia this year assessed the country's business climate and compared the result with other countries. According to him, the study took into account more than 800 criteria.

"The study showed that Russia is among the global leaders in the investment climate rating. At the same time, in terms of the level of the regulatory framework and the quality of public services, Russia is certainly ahead of all countries," he said at the plenary session of the VTB forum "Russia Calling!".

Putin also noted that Russia ranked second in terms of enterprise registration and real estate management. According to him, a number of areas, among others, require additional efforts.

The head of state said that in the future will be organized systematic work to make significant progress.

Earlier, on November 27, it became known that the Ministry of Finance has prepared amendments to the draft, expanding the powers of the Federal Tax Service on business assessment. The service will assess the state of Russian enterprises on the basis of data from the "Service for the assessment of legal entities". It allows a company to request a statement of its financial stability to confirm reliability to customers.
