The head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs Yaroslav Nilov (LDPR) will draft a bill that proposes to oblige to call the owner of a car before its evacuation if the car does not create a critical situation on the road. This is reported by TASS on December 4.
The deputy said that it is planned to propose amendments to the law "On Road Safety" and the CAO RF to provide for the obligation of the person who decides on forced evacuation to make a call to the owner of the car
Earlier, the expert Council of the Duma Committee proposed to oblige to notify the driver or owner of the car about the impending detention of the car at least 10 minutes before, making up to three calls to the phone number.
November 28, it became known that the government called for a revision of the bill, which proposes to introduce a 50% discount when paying for the evacuation of a detained vehicle. Parliamentarians proposed to introduce a discount provided that the payment of an administrative fine and the cost of moving and storage of the evacuated vehicle will be made within 20 days.
November 18, it was reported that the State Duma proposed to introduce a function of sending messages to the portal "Gosuservices" to the owners of cars that interfere with the passage of other cars. According to deputies, this measure will allow drivers to promptly inform the owners of interfering cars about the need to clear the passage, and will also reduce the burden on police officers and evacuation services.
