Avatr cars will receive corrosion protection in Russia

Electric crossover Avatr 11, which will be the first model of the brand in Russia, will receive a comprehensive adaptation for the market, which includes Russification of the interface and corrosion protection. This is stated in the message of the press service of the automaker, which was received by Izvestia on December 4.

According to the company representatives, Avatr 11 sold at official dealers will have a higher level of body protection from road reagents and corrosion than similar models for the domestic Chinese market. The crossovers will also be characterized by a fully Russified interface and the possibility of voice control of various functions of the car in Russian.

Electric cars will be equipped with a charging port of the European standard CCS Combo 2. The original charging station and cable buyers will receive as a gift. All adapted models are equipped with a slot for a physical SIM-card of the Russian standard, as well as a prepaid package of Internet traffic, which, according to calculations, should be enough for two years of operation.

In addition, the basic equipment of the Russian specification includes heated front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield, rearview mirrors, as well as a battery heating system. The company promised car buyers a mobile application with telematics and a warranty on crossovers for eight years from the date of purchase.

Changan announced the launch of luxury electric car brand Avatr in Russia on November 12. The brand was created in partnership with Chinese IT giant Huawei. The rear-wheel drive Avatr 11 is powered by a single motor on the rear axle with 313 hp. The all-wheel drive version has an additional 258 hp motor on the front axle, bringing the total system output to 571 hp. The range, depending on the selected battery, is from 575 to 625 kilometers. The model will be offered in four- and five-seat interior layout.

On December 3, Jaguar presented a concept electric car Type 00, which is designed to demonstrate the future direction of the British brand. It is a long coupe with 23-inch disks, which at the end of 2025 will be reborn into a four-door production model of the GT class. It will be built on Jaguar's new JEA electric architecture and will be able to travel up to 770 kilometers on a single battery charge.
