In the Moscow region it was proposed to cancel the Russian exam for migrants on construction sites

The Moscow Region Government has prepared measures to support the construction industry. In particular, the authorities proposed to attract labor force from visa countries, to cancel language exams for them and to allow registering people on construction sites for 2.5 square meters, "Izvestia" learned on December 4.

The fact is that developers are experiencing a shortage of labor, as a result, companies compete with each other, increasing such personnel wages. Therefore, it is supposed to close the needs of business by attracting foreign labor from visa countries - India, Vietnam and so on. Such a proposal the Moscow region has sent to the government, said the source, the editorial board has familiarized itself with the relevant document.

For this purpose, some procedures should be simplified - for example, the period of arrival and departure for work should be cut from 150 to 50 days. The work permit period should be increased from one year to three and the Russian language exam should be canceled. Moreover, the Moscow region considers it necessary to provide for registration of migrants at the place of stay at construction sites and reduce the permitted area of residence from 4 to 2.5 square meters. m.

Prior to that, on November 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian authorities should be primarily guided by the interests of Russians in attracting migrants. According to him, it is necessary to create conditions when people coming to work will be ready for it: they will know the language, traditions and laws of the country. In this case, there will be no rejection on the part of Russian citizens.
