Two residents of Shebekino injured in Ukrainian drone attack

Two civilians were injured as a result of attacks by two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the town of Shebekino in Belgorod Region. This was reported by governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 4.
The head of the region specified that the first male victim was injured when the drone detonated against the roadbed. He went to Shebekinskaya CRB with a mine blast injury and a blind shrapnel wound to the chest. Another local resident, injured during the attack of the second UAV, had a mine blast injury and a blind shrapnel wound to his back, he was hospitalized.
Both of the injured were given the necessary treatment.
In addition, infrastructure and autos were damaged, Gladkov specified.
"In the city, the facade and glazing of a commercial facility were damaged, four passenger cars were slashed with shrapnel," he wrote in his Telegram channel, adding that operational services are working on the site.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 24 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions last night. Of them, four drones were shot down over the Belgorod region, the agency specified.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
