Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksandr Dubynskyy has recalled Nazi Germany's leader Adolf Hitler when speaking about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (whose term of office expired on 20 May) who is holding on to power.

According to him, the Ukrainian leader lies to the citizens of Ukraine, calling the reason for not holding elections the impossibility to observe equal voting rights.

"But provides everyone an equal right to die. In choosing the method of death - full democracy. Even Hitler did not think of such a thing," Dubinsky wrote on December 4 in his Telegram channel.

In addition, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada called the Kiev regime a junta. He noted that this political group is in power only thanks to the punitive system.

Earlier, on December 2, the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine is tired of Zelensky.

The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said on October 27 that the election of the head of state in the country could not be held because not all Ukrainians would be able to participate in the vote and it would be possible only after the end of the conflict. According to Yermak, Zelensky wants soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and refugees who are abroad to vote in the election, among others.

Before that, on 11 August, German political analyst Christoph Herstel said that the actions of the Kiev regime, which is constantly tightening the mobilization campaign in Ukraine, resemble the measures taken by Adolf Hitler to replenish his army during the Second World War. The expert noted that 18-year-olds are too young to fight and their chances of survival are extremely low. According to him, they need training, they should be trained by more experienced fighters and then they should be sent to the front.

According to the provisions of the Ukrainian constitution, elections were supposed to be held in March this year, but they were canceled due to the martial law imposed by the president in Ukraine, effective from February 24, 2022.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men aged between 18 and 60 are banned from leaving the country.
