Fraudsters stole 90 thousand rubles from a Moscow resident on his birthday. This was reported by the source of "Izvestia" on Wednesday, December 4.

According to the 57-year-old man, he received a message on his phone that the bank had prepared a monetary gift for him in honor of the holiday. After clicking on the link, the victim realized that more than 90 thousand rubles had been debited from his account.

Earlier, December 1, it was reported that fraudsters cheated a teacher of a St. Petersburg university for 1.7 million rubles. It was specified that the man received a call from an unknown number. The attacker introduced himself as an employee of the FSB and reported fraudulent actions with the bank account of the teacher. As a result, he convinced the victim to withdraw funds and transfer to a "safe" account.
