The USE provides an opportunity to enter the country's leading universities, and every student aims to pass this test with the highest score. Victoria Podsukhina, a teacher and head of regional teaching at MAXIMUM Education, told Izvestia on December 5 about how to pass the USE with 80+ points.

"The most important thing when preparing for the exam is to understand its format. It is necessary at the very beginning of the preparation to familiarize yourself with the evaluation criteria, structure, features of each task. All this information can be found on the FIPI website, it is set out in two documents: specification and codifier", - said Podsukhina.

According to her, the document "specification" describes the structure of the exam and evaluation criteria, and the codifier presents all the topics that may be encountered in the exam. It is important to study this list, it will help to make a preparation plan and focus on the most important and difficult topics. In addition, the website also publishes a demo version of the exam, which is useful to solve on your own to assess your level of preparation. Self-preparation can be ineffective, as test resources and exercise books are often outdated and their answers are not sufficiently informative.

To pass the exam with high scores, the expert recommends thinking about your schedule, as preparation for the exam requires careful planning.

"It is necessary to allocate a specific number of hours for the study of each subject per week, while not forgetting about rest and repetition of the material passed," - said the teacher.

According to the specialist, it is worth using different resources to prepare for the exam. These can be online platforms, video lectures, test assignments, the FIPI website with an open bank of assignments, textbooks and books on the topics that will be on the exam. It is important to choose the right study strategy, monitor your progress and identify weaknesses in time to adjust your study.

In the last days before the exam, it is not recommended to study a large amount of information. It is best to go through the notes again and solve simple test tasks. A rush to study theory can cause a high level of stress, and as a result, everything can simply "fall out of your head" on the exam. On the day of the exam, it is extremely important to get a good night's sleep, have breakfast and make sure that all the necessary things are packed: documents, pens and so on. It's best to arrive for the exam early to avoid unnecessary excitement.

"You have to remember that exams are very stressful for a teenager. To cope with it, it is necessary to make sure that the regime of the day is built correctly: there is time to study, circles and sections, rest. It is worth developing psychological stability", - summarized Podsukhina.

Earlier, on November 1, the head of teaching department of MAXIMUM Education company Polina Neverova told "Izvestia" about whether it is worth to start preparing for the USE in the 10th grade. Starting preparation for the USE in the 10th grade, a schoolchild gains time to distribute the load evenly and close gaps in knowledge.
