Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. The Defense Ministry reported that units of the "North" group of troops defeated the formations of the 5th border guard detachment of the Ukrainian Border Service in the Kharkiv direction near the village of Alisovka. The Russian military also repelled two counterattacks by Ukrainian troops.

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in this direction amounted to up to 30 servicemen, a vehicle, a 152-millimeter gun D-20 and a 122-millimeter howitzer D-30.

Also, units of the Dnipro group of forces destroyed two ammunition depots and a warehouse of military-technical equipment in the Kherson region.

In addition, Russian operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile troops and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation hit the infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition depots, as well as accumulations of Ukrainian manpower and military equipment in 133 areas.

Air defense means eliminated 61 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones.

In total, since the beginning of the air defense operation, 649 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 37,183 UAVs, 586 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19,611 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,497 multiple rocket launchers, 18,960 field artillery and mortars, 28,981 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
