The Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) have hit the infrastructure of military airfields and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 4.
"Operative-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition depots, as well as accumulations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 133 areas," the ministry said.
In addition, the grouping of troops "East" advanced deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Also groupings "West", "Center" and "South" improved their position on the front.
The air defense means (air defense) in turn shot down 61 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the AFU.
On the same day, it was reported that artillerymen of the Vostok group of forces disrupted the rotation of Ukrainian units, as well as destroyed a hangar with vehicles, a radio electronic warfare (REB) station and the enemy's temporary deployment points.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the region.
