Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on 20 May, faces disgraceful political exile or public execution. Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, said on December 4.

"<...> The future fate is quite obvious: shameful political emigration or public execution," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Medvedev also said he considers Zelensky a criminal. In his opinion, the Ukrainian leader should "go away and disappear".

Earlier, on December 3, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk said that Zelensky, talking about concessions for the sake of conflict resolution and attempts to return Crimea, never admits his mistakes. According to him, regardless of how events in Ukraine and in the process of negotiations with Russia will develop, the Ukrainian leader will present it as his personal victory.

Before that, on December 2, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine was tired of Zelensky.

On December 1, the leader of the "Stand Up France" party, Nicolas Dupont-Eignan, rebuked the Ukrainian leader for derailing the agreements on Ukraine. According to him, if Zelensky had been ready for negotiations as early as 2022, "this monstrous conflict could have been avoided".
