The winners of the "Man Walking" walking competition will be presented at Izvestia International Exhibition Center

On December 5 at 15:00 in the press center of the Izvestia International ExhibitionCenter a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the Russian Background Walking Championship "Man Walking" will take place.

The event will be attended by Leo Bokeria, chief freelance cardiovascular surgeon of the Ministry of Health of Russia, president of the Health League of the Nation, and Yuri Zinchenko, dean of the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University.

Winners will be announced in the main categories: municipal teams, corporate teams, retired teams, student teams, family teams and ZOZH groups. Special awards for unique achievements will also be presented.

Almost 83 thousand people from 80 regions of Russia took part in the 2024 Championship.

The project "Man Walking" is organized by the Health League of the Nation with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and is part of the federal project "Sport is the norm of life". For five years of its existence it has become a symbol of mass support of healthy lifestyle and active longevity.
