AvtoVAZ announced the production of the 30,000th Lada Largus

The Lada Izhevsk automobile plant has produced the 30,000th commercial vehicle of the Lada Largus family since the restart of the model's production. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on December 4.
The jubilee was a five-seat white passenger station wagon in the Classic Plus configuration with a 1.6-liter 16-valve engine and manual transmission.
At the end of November 2024, sales of cars of the family (8246 units) set a record - this is the highest monthly volume since the debut of the first generation Largus in 2012.
Serial production of Lada Largus in Izhevsk started on May 15, 2024. The transfer of Largus production from Togliatti to Izhevsk allowed to optimize car production and free up the capacity of line No. 1 in Togliatti for the production of Aura sedans in the fall of this year and a promising crossover on the Vesta platform in early 2026, the company said. Sales of Lada Largus began in mid-June.
The day before it was reported that the showrooms are running out of Lada Granta cars with automatic transmission, sedans and liftbacks are left only a limited number. The batch of such cars amounted to about 5 thousand units. AvtoVAZ produced Granta with "automatics" from the remaining stocks. Before that, the cars of the family were available only with a five-speed manual transmission.
