In the Moscow region, attackers took a man hostage and extorted 5 million rubles

Three men with accomplices took a resident of Volokolamsk district of Moscow region hostage and extorted 5 million rubles. This was reported by a source of Izvestiya on December 4.

According to the interlocutor, the attackers threatened and used violence against the 38-year-old victim.

Three alleged extortionists were detained, the identities of the other participants in the crime are being investigated.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of extortion and kidnapping.
