Sobyanin announced the indexation of social payments

Next year social payments to Muscovites will be increased by 5.5%. The corresponding decree was signed by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, reported on the mos.ru portal.

It is specified that the minimum pension with the city supplement will amount to 25 850 rubles per month.

In addition, according to Sobyanin, will be increased and lump-sum and monthly social payments to privileged categories of citizens.

Also in 2025 lump-sum payments to festive and memorable dates are planned: anniversaries of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the beginning of the Soviet counter-offensive in the Battle of Moscow and the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The size of these payments will be determined separately.

Earlier Sobyanin told that in the draft budget of Moscow for 2025 almost 690 billion rubles is provided for the provision of social support measures to the residents of the city.

"The development of the system of social support is our most important task. We will introduce more flexible and effective tools, improve the quality of service through digital transformation and simplify the procedure for receiving services", - said the mayor of Moscow.
