Two pensioners, who could not move independently after suffering a stroke, died in a fire in a private house in the Omsk region. This was reported on December 4 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in the region.
According to the agency, the fire occurred on December 3 in the village of Gauf. The cause of the fire was a short circuit of electrical wiring. As a result of the incident, a 78-year-old pensioner and his 75-year-old wife died, they were poisoned by products of combustion.
"The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Omsk region initiated a criminal case under part 3 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence of two persons")", - stated on the website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
