The body of a newborn baby was found in a hostel in Chita, his mother died the next day in hospital. About it on December 4 reported the Prosecutor's office of the Zabaikalsky region.

"The Prosecutor's office of the Central district of the city of Chita is conducting an inspection on the fact of discovery at the end of last week in one of the hostels of the regional center of the body of a newborn baby, whose mother died the next day in the hospital", - stated on the website of the agency.

According to the prosecutor's office, in the course of the inspection, the department's employees will assess the work of the prevention system bodies, and in case of violations will be identified, prosecutor's response measures will be taken.

Also, the prosecutor's office will follow the progress and results of the procedural inspection conducted by law enforcement agencies in the case.

Earlier, on November 22, the body of a child was found in an apartment located in the south-east of Moscow. At the moment, the circumstances of the incident are being established, a forensic medical examination is being conducted.
