Air defense means in the morning eliminated 11 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory

The Russian Air Defense Forces have destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 4.

"Six UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Rostov region, two - over the territory of the Kursk region, one - over the territory of the Bryansk region, one - over the territory of the Ryazan region and one - over the territory of the Kaluga region," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the attempted attack was foiled from 05:30 to 07:40.

On the same day it was reported that the air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 24 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions last night. Six UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Rostov region, five - over the territory of Bryansk region, four - over the territory of Belgorod region. Also, three drones were eliminated over the territory of the Ryazan region, one over the Astrakhan region and five over the Krasnodar region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
