Moskino movie park will show a historical battle as part of "Winter in Moscow"

Within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow" in the film park "Moskino" will show a historical reconstruction dedicated to the battle for Moscow. This is reported on December 4 on the official website of the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.

Visitors to the program on December 7 and 8 will be able to see the battle for the village of Krasnaya Polyana and the battle for the village of Bely Rast. In addition, the event will provide an opportunity to attend courses of sappers, artillerymen, pilots, to try themselves in the role of communicators, medics and air defense specialists.

Participants of the event will be able to get acquainted with the history of the filming process. Cinematography experts will tell about the actors of films, how films about the events of the Great Patriotic War were shot.

The site will feature a Soviet WWII sorokopyatka cannon, a Soviet BT-7 light tank, a U-2 airplane, an 85-millimeter caliber anti-aircraft gun, and German military equipment to recreate the events of those years.

"350 reconstructors from Moscow, Kaluga and Kolomna, Moscow Region, Tula, Ryazan, Sevastopol and Crimea, Voronezh, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod will take part in recreating the situation and events of the 1940s of the last century. Visitors are waiting for more than 100 historical shows, master classes, quests and performances", - said the main coordinator of the event Vasily Tartyzhov.

Earlier, on November 30, it was reported that as part of the event, visitors will be able to see the historical production "Moscow Speaks! The Battle for Moscow.TheFirst Victory", which involves actors and military reenactors. This production, as noted, tells about the Soviet counter-offensive near the capital, which began on December 5, 1941. The debut screening will take place at the movie park. Reconstructionists will not only recreate historical events, but also try to convey the atmosphere of heroism and cohesion of the Soviet people.
