Rutte warned Trump of possible threat to US over Ukraine agreement

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned US President-elect Donald Trump in an interview with the Financial Times that the Ukraine agreement could carry a threat.
"We cannot allow a situation where [North Korean leader] Kim Jong-un, Russian leader[Vladimir Putin], Xi Jinping and Iran exchange handshakes, because we have come to an agreement that is disadvantageous to Ukraine, because in the long term it will become a serious security threat not only to Europe but also to the United States," the publication said in its piece.
He also emphasized that the NATO alliance countries should focus on increasing arms deliveries to Kiev so that Ukraine could enter the process of peace talks.
Earlier, on November 25, the future presidential adviser on national security Mike Walz said that work on the organization of negotiations on the Ukrainian conflict will begin in January.
On November 20, Bloomberg agency wrote that Trump may soon hold talks with Putin on the Ukrainian conflict. The agency also suggested that current President Joe Biden's decision on the use of long-range weapons by Ukraine could serve as an attempt to spoil Trump's chances of resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
Russian President Vladimir Putin named the conditions for negotiations on Ukraine back in June at a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Foreign Ministry. For example, the AFU should leave the territories of the new regions of the Russian Federation, and Kiev should give up the idea of NATO integration.
