Air defense forces eliminated 24 Ukrainian UAVs overnight over Russian regions

Air defense forces have destroyed and intercepted 24 Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian regions. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 4.

"Six UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Rostov region, five - over the territory of Bryansk region, four - over the territory of Belgorod region, three - over the territory of Ryazan region, one - over the territory of Astrakhan region and five - over the territory of Krasnodar region," the report said in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the attacks were carried out by UAVs of the airplane type.

Earlier in the day, Yuri Slyusar, acting governor of the Rostov region, reported about 12 UAVs eliminated in the vicinity of Taganrog. According to him, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
