Rostov region reported 12 UAVs eliminated in the Taganrog area

Air defense forces have destroyed 12 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Taganrog. This was reported on December 4 by Yuri Slyusar, the acting governor of Rostov region.

"Since early morning, air defense forces have been repelling an enemy attack. In the vicinity of Taganrog, 12 UAVs were destroyed and suppressed by means of electronic warfare," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, as a result of the attack there were no casualties and destruction.

Earlier, on December 3, Slyusar reported that the wreckage of a downed AFU drone fell on the territory of a kindergarten in Rostov region. According to Slyusar, none of the children, their parents and staff were injured and there was no destruction.

Before that, on the night of December 3, the governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz reported the destruction of one UAV in the sky above the region. This fact was confirmed by the Russian Defense Ministry. Another drone was destroyed in the Bryansk region the night before.

Before that, on November 29, the means of air defense air defense and electronic warfare intercepted 30 drones over the Rostov region. No casualties were reported. As a result of the attack, several houses and the building of a village club were damaged.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
