A passenger plane Yak-40 returned to the airport of departure in Kamchatka after triggering fire sensors on board. This was reported in the press service of the "Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise" on December 4.

"The crew of the Yak-40 flight, which was en route Palana - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, reported the triggering of a fire alarm. The aircraft returned to the departure airport for a detailed inspection," the Telegram channel reports.

After the inspection it turned out that the triggering of the sensors was false. The passengers of the airplane were taken to their destination by another airplane. Yak-40 is being inspected to find out the cause of the false alarm.

Earlier, on December 2, the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office reported that the Azur Air flight from Tomsk was forced to land in Novosibirsk due to a malfunction. The airplane was suspended from use until the causes of the malfunction are determined. According to the airline, passengers will be sent to their destination on a reserve aircraft.
