The cheapest foreign destinations for New Year holidays are named
The average cost of a booked night in Russia for the New Year holidays is 7.1 thousand rubles - it is 10% higher than in 2023. This was reported to "Izvestia" in the service of online booking of hotels and apartments "Ostrovok".
The most budget tourists book accommodation in the following Russian destinations: Volgograd and Sevastopol - 3.8 thousand rubles per night, Makhachkala - 4 thousand rubles, Kirov - 4.2 thousand rubles, Mineralnye Vody - 4.3 thousand rubles, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Derbent - 4.5 thousand rubles.
"Among the foreign destinations, the most budgetary reservations are made by tourists in hotels and apartments of the CIS countries: Abkhazia - Br5.8 thousand, Kazakhstan - Br5.9 thousand, Kyrgyzstan - Br6.2 thousand, Uzbekistan - Br6.3 thousand," they said.
The rise in prices has not reduced demand for travel, but redirected it to less obvious, but no less attractive destinations, noted participants of the travel industry.
