Peskov assessed the prospects for talks between Russia and Ukraine

There are no grounds for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine at the moment. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Izvestiya.
"So far there are no grounds for negotiations," he said.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that the alliance countries intend to discuss at a meeting of foreign ministers of the bloc's states military aid to Ukraine. At the same time, he added that the essence of the discussion will come down to how Kiev can enter peace talks from a position of strength. The meeting takes place on December 3-4 in Brussels.
In late November, the head of the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term expired on May 20), Andriy Yermak, said that negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict are possible only if the country's borders return "at least" to the state of February 23, 2022.
Russia presented its position on resolving the crisis in Ukraine in June this year. Among the conditions for the launch of the peace process - the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territory of the LNR, DNR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions (and within their administrative boundaries, which existed at the time of their entry into Ukraine), the official rejection of Ukraine's aspirations to join NATO, demilitarization and denazification of the country, recognition by Kiev of the new regions (including Crimea and Sevastopol) part of the Russian Federation, the lifting of all Western sanctions.
