- Artillerymen of the "Center" group of troops spoke about their combat work in the NWO zone

A crew of the Center group's 2A36 Hyacinth-B 152-millimeter gun supports the Russian military offensive in the Pokrovskoye area of the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone. Images of the gun's operation are at Izvestia's disposal.
"The 2A36 Hyacinth can hit up to 30-35 kilometers. We fulfill tasks, help our infantry, hit heavy equipment, enemy infantry," said the gun commander of the 2A36 Hyacinth howitzer, junior sergeant Konstantin Gorokhovatchenko.
Izvestia correspondent Dmitry Astrakhan reported that Russian troops are advancing farther and farther, causing the guns to increase their firing range.
It is reported that after hitting the howitzer with artillery shells toward Krasnoarmeysk, the gun waits for a correction on the target and strikes again. Having fulfilled the combat task, "Hyacinth-B" is camouflaged, the calculation is sent to cover.
According to the servicemen, the main thing in their work is teamwork and cohesion.
"If there is no cohesion, there will be no work. This is the most important thing - team cohesion. We are one family that works for one goal, for victory," said the platoon commander, Guards Lieutenant Pyotr Serukhin.
Earlier, on December 3, the Russian Defense Ministry showed the combat work of the crew of the T-72B3 tank of the Center group of troops, which , with a faulty turret, supported the assault units and destroyed the AFU strongholds on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction in the special operation zone. During the breakthrough of the enemy defenses, the tank was hit by many artillery shells and an FPV drone, the impact of which caused the armored vehicle's turret to stop turning.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
