South Korea's government voted to lift martial law


The government of South Korea voted in favor of canceling martial law in the country. This was reported by Yonhap news agency on December 3, citing the office of the state's Prime Minister Han Dok-soo.
"The proposal to abolish martial law was adopted at a cabinet meeting," the office said.
It is specified that the decision was made unanimously, all 190 members of the National Assembly voted positively.
