A road accident in Ufa killed one person and injured a traffic police inspector

In Ufa, a driver in a state of alcohol intoxication caused a traffic accident, which killed a woman and injured an inspector of traffic police. This was reported by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Republic of Bashkortostan on December 3.

According to the agency, on Tuesday at about 22:00 local time (20:00 Moscow time), a 37-year-old driver of Kia Rio in a state of alcoholic intoxication, driving along Rural Bogorodskaya Street in the direction of Ferina Street, tried to avoid the scene of an accident involving Renault Logan and Skoda Octavia. However, when entering the oncoming traffic lane, he collided with a Nissan Terrano.

Then the car was thrown at the people who were nearby - the traffic police inspector, who was standing on the dividing strip and regulating traffic, as well as at the drivers of Renault Logan, Skoda Octavia and the tow truck.

The driver of the Skoda and the traffic police inspector were taken to hospital. The woman, without regaining consciousness, died of her injuries in the intensive care unit.

"The examination of the driver of the Kia showed 0.906 mg / l of alcohol vapors in the exhaled air. At present, the driver is detained. On the fact of the accident initiated proceedings", - specified in the State traffic police in Telegram-channel.

Earlier in the same day as a result of a traffic accident in the center of Moscow suffered five people. It was specified that three cars collided on Krasnopresnenskaya embankment. Three of the injured were hospitalized.
