Russian military destroyed up to 100 terrorists in Syria over the past 24 hours


Russian servicemen have destroyed up to 100 terrorists and military equipment of militants in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo provinces in Syria with missile and bomb strikes over the past 24 hours. This was reported on December 3 by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Enemy Parties (CRAP) in Syria, Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.
"Up to 100 terrorists, 12 tanks, two BM-21 multiple rocket launchers (MLRS), 27 vehicles, three mortars, a command post and an ammunition depot were destroyed," he said at a briefing.
Ignasyuk added that missile and bomb strikes were carried out on places of accumulation, shelters and control points of militants, as well as on warehouses with ammunition and military equipment, multiple rocket launchers (MLRS) and surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs).
He noted that 18 violations of airspace in the skies over Syria were committed by the US-led coalition aviation during the day.
"Four cases of violations of the Deconfliction Protocols of December 9, 2019 related to uncoordinated flights of unmanned aerial vehicles with the Russian side were recorded on the part of the coalition over the day," Ignasyuk said.
In addition, 14 violations of the rules of use of Syrian airspace were noted in the area of al-Tanf by two pairs of F-15 fighter jets three times each and a pair of Rafale fighter jets.
Earlier, on December 2, Ignasiuk reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) together with the Syrian military destroyed at least 100 militants over the day as part of an operation to repel terrorist aggression in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo provinces.
Previously, on December 1, the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) together with the Syrian military destroyed at least 320 militants and 63 pieces of equipment within the framework of the operation to repel terrorist aggression in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.
