Putin held a meeting in the Kremlin with Mezentsev


Russian President Vladimir Putin met with State Secretary of the Union State (SS) Dmitry Mezentsev in the Kremlin in preparation for the meeting of the Supreme State Council (SSC) in Minsk. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on December 3.
"Vladimir Putin received in the Kremlin Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev as part of preparations for the Supreme State Council scheduled for Friday in Minsk," he said.
Earlier, November 11, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic Alexander Volfovich said that Moscow and Minsk had completed work on a treaty on security guarantees of the SG. The document will include the principle of the use of nuclear and conventional weapons, as well as other methods of defense of the Union State.
Before that, November 5, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said about the importance of deepening the integration of Russia and Belarus in industry and other areas. Mishustin recalled that in order to achieve joint goals, Moscow and Minsk approved 31 action plans, which contain more than 300 tasks, of which approximately one-sixth have been implemented.
