On December 3, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation presented awards to families of veterans of the Special Military Operation (SMO).
The nomination "Defense of the Fatherland is a Family Affair" was awarded to participants and veterans of the Special Military Operation from the large Lesov family with many children in the Kemerovo Region. Five children of the family are cadre military personnel, one of the sons is currently undergoing medical treatment after participating in combat operations. One of the sons died on the front line.
The nomination "Military Dynasty" was awarded to the Sushkeev family from the Republic of Buryatia. Their family consists of hereditary cadre servicemen. The head of the family served 10.5 years in the Guards Airborne Assault Brigade, is a participant of combat operations in Chechnya and Syria.
The Nazirov family from the Moscow region was awarded the nomination "In memory of the hero son". The son of the family was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. The parents are engaged in preserving the memory of their son, they are also active in public activities.
The Khudoshins from the Samara region were awarded the nomination "Sports Family" for the fact that all members of the family are actively involved in sports, including a veteran who returned from the SVO zone.
The nomination "Talent Family" was awarded to the Nikolayev family, which distinguished itself for its creative activity. In the Nikolayev family, the son is a veteran of the SSO. The parents are artists of the Yakutian variety, they have recorded songs in support of the soldiers of the Army and go to the front line with concerts.
The Aivaziantz family from the Tyumen Region was awarded in the nomination "Love for the Motherland is a matter of life". The head of the family is an SVO veteran who founded the sports club after returning from the combat zone. The club pays special attention to the children of the deceased participants of the military service.
The nomination "Saving Lives" was awarded to the Naumovs-Nesterovs family from the Vladimir region. The mother of the family worked as a medic in the "yellow zone" of the SSO. The son also served in the SVO and was awarded the medal "For Bravery". The father of the family went to the front line and is taking part in a counter-terrorist operation in the Kursk region.
The nomination "Family Love Story" was awarded to the Marenkov family from the Leningrad region. The family was formed when the future head of the family was wounded after taking part in a counter-terrorist operation and went to hospital, where he met a nurse. They married and had a daughter.
The nomination "Family of Virtues" was awarded to the Flegantovs from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The spouses raised their children and adopted three sisters from Donbass. In 2022, the father of the family went to SVO as a volunteer and returned after being there for more than a year.
The nomination "Heirs of the Great Victory" was awarded to the Sobolev family from the Udmurt Republic. The father of the family is an SVO veteran, two sons are SVO participants, the mother is one of the best social coordinators of the Fund's branch, a labor veteran. The grandfather fought in the Great Patriotic War from the walls of Moscow and reached Prague, where he met the Victory.
Earlier, on November 23, servicemen of the 80th Tank Regiment of the "Center" group of troops were awarded the Order of Courage for the liberation of the village of Novoalekseevka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
