This is stated in the results of research brand SOKOLOV, which were familiarized "Izvestia" on December 4.

It added that November 29 - December 1 online sales increased by 41% compared to the indicator of "Black Friday" in 2023. The average check for jewelry increased by 61% and reached 16,431 rubles.

Moscow and St. Petersburg accounted for the most online sales. Samara, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod were also among the top 5 cities where jewelry was bought. At the same time, the average check in Nizhny Novgorod was higher than in the capital - 26,662 rubles versus 20,353 rubles in Moscow. St. Petersburg residents spent an average of about Br13 thousand on rings, earrings, brooches and necklaces on "Black Friday" this year.

Earlier, November 20, it was reported that Russians' spending on jewelry in the week from October 28 to November 3 increased by 31.5% compared to the same period last year. This is stated in a review of the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis and Short-Term Forecasting (CMACP) based on data from SberIndex. Such indicators were also influenced by the growth of Russians' incomes.
