A resident of Novaya Kakhovka was wounded as a result of the AFU shelling of the town

A woman was injured due to a strike on Novaya Kakhovka by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on December 3 by the Chairman of the Government of the Kherson region Andrey Alekseenko in Telegram-channel.

"An hour ago, the enemy delivered a targeted strike on a residential high-rise apartment building in Nova Kakhovka. Seriously damaged at once six apartments of the house on Pionerskaya Street. Unfortunately, it was not without casualties. A woman was seriously injured," the publication says.

She is currently receiving medical care.

All the affected families will provide the necessary support, added Alekseenko.

On December 2, it was reported that seven people were injured due to attacks by AFU drones in Tokmak and Vasilievka in Zaporizhzhya region. All the injured are receiving medical care.

At the same time, the ambassador for special assignments of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik said that the AFU militants had targeted ambulances in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions three times during the week.

It is noted that the militants dropped ammunition on the ambulance five times. The driver and the paramedic barely managed to leave the vehicle, which was hit with ammunition, damaged wheels and punctured the roof. A wounded man who was waiting for the medical team died before help arrived.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
