Five-time Olympic champions in figure skating in ice dancing Frenchwomen Gabriela Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron announced the end of their careers. This was reported on December 3 by French radio station France Info.

More than two years after their last competition, won in March 2022 in Montpellier, Papadakis, 29, and Cizeron, 30, announced their decision to finish with the sport. Their joint statement emphasized that they will "take different paths."
