Case opened after ceiling collapses on schoolchildren in Samara region

After the collapse of suspended ceiling panels in a school in Chapaevsk, Samara Region, a criminal case has been opened. This was reported on Tuesday, December 3, by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC F) for the region in Telegram-channel.

"In one of the schools of the city of Chapaevsk on the students fell suspended ceiling panels, as a result of which several children were hospitalized with bodily injuries", - stated in the message.

It is noted that the schoolchildren are provided with medical assistance.

The investigative department opened a criminal case under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of life and health of citizens").

During the investigation, officials of the educational institution will be questioned, including the workers responsible for the breakage of the ceiling panels. All necessary documentation will be obtained, including the severity of children's injuries.

Earlier, on November 29, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Samara region reported that in Samara a criminal case under Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism") was initiated after the dissemination of a video in social networks, in which teenagers abuse a schoolboy. It is noted that a video appeared in which high school students poured water on the schoolboy, forced him to kneel down and apologize to the girl.
