On December 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the CITO (Center for Innovative Technologies in Orthopedics), where prosthetics are made and servicemen are rehabilitated.

Putin was met by Victor Spektor, the general director of "TsITO", who told the head of state about the company's activities. In particular, about the structure of production. Spector noted that at the moment the company is facing the task to gradually move to its digital transformation, but at the moment the creation of prostheses is mainly manual labor.

Also the general director of "CITO" said that another important task is the training of highly qualified personnel in this industry.

JSC "CITO" produces individual means of rehabilitation, including high-tech prostheses and orthopedic devices for lower and upper limbs.

Earlier, on November 14, Putin signed a decree on a lump-sum payment of 4 million rubles to the participants of the SWO, who received disability as a result of wounds and injuries.

Servicemen with minor injuries will be entitled to a payment of Br1 million. In case of other injuries, the amount of payment will be Br100 thousand.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
