Russian Armed Forces fighters told about the advancement in the Chasovoyarsk direction

Russian servicemen shot down three FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the village of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic. The situation at the line of contact on December 3 was described by Izvestiya correspondent.
"There was an attack of FPV-drones. Three 'birds' in the area fell and spontaneously detonated from the fall," said the company commander of the Bars-31 detachment with the call sign Khrabryy.
The fighters continue to advance on the northern flank of the Chasovoyarsk direction. To suppress enemy drones, the military use a modern electronic warfare (EW) system "Harpy". The portable device is used to protect trenches from enemy air attacks.
In parallel with the repulsion of UAVs, the military continue to suppress AFU positions. A grenade launcher with the call sign Ignat noted that his weapon is capable not only of stopping military equipment, but also of destroying enemy strongholds. A machine gunner with the call sign Whisper goes into action after his shot.
"Now we have worked on an enemy machine-gun point, which causes inconvenience during the entry and exit of assault groups, during the exit of evacuation groups," Shepot said.
Against the backdrop of bad weather, the dirt roads turned into a swamp. As the driver of the evacuation vehicle with the call sign Pekin said, the transport regularly gets stuck in such soil. Meanwhile, a deputy commander with the call sign Zmey noted that the enemy had equipped well-fortified positions in this area, including concretized ones.
Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces (AFU) had liberated the settlements of Romanovka in the DNR and Novodorovka in the Zaporizhzhya region. In addition, the AFU lost up to 460 military personnel in the area of responsibility of the Western Group of Forces.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
